Post-Treatment PSA Trend

My post-surgery PSA remained undetectable from the surgery in January 2011 through a routine follow-up PSA test in September 2015 when it was 0.05 ng/ml. It’s been bouncing around, creeping slightly upward every since.

I had 35 sessions of salvage radiation therapy 7 July 2022 – 26 August 2022 with concurrent androgen deprivation therapy (six-month dose of Eligard administered 3 May 2022), and that explains the drop in my PSA. I’m guessing that the bump to 0.13 ng/mL in March 2023 is from the Eligard wearing off and the radiation not yet kicking in.

Unfortunately, it appears that the SRT has failed to do its job as of my most recent PSA readings. We’re well above the point we were at when we began the salvage radiation therapy.
