My post-surgery PSA remained undetectable from the surgery in January 2011 through a routine follow-up PSA test in September 2015 when it was 0.05 ng/ml. It’s been bouncing around, creeping slightly upward every since. But clearly something very unexpected happened with the 7 February 2020 results dropping to 0.08. After a re-test, we got results more in line with what had been happening all along.
Now in July 2021, you can see that I had two consecutive PSA tests come in at 0.21, breaking the traditional threshold definition of biochemical recurrence.
