You can go ice skating under the palm trees about 100 feet/30 meters from the beach. (I know better than to strap a pair of ice skates onto my feet. No Christmas Eve trip to the hospital emergency room for me!)

One of my worst alcohol experiences was at this hotel. I was introduced to the clear chocolate martini. The bartender liked me so much, he gave me a shaker that I still use today.

I don’t know if they still make them, but I would absolutely recommend getting one. It’s a little jarring to drink something crystal clear that’s loaded with chocolate flavor.
